So apparently, the grooved side of a bobby pin should face down, against your scalp. The grooved side is designed to grip hair and the flat side is meant to push hair down and hold it into the grooves.

Personally, I believe food & lifestyle routines are most important in preventing illnesses.
Of all the diet & health information overloads out there, I like Ayurveda because it recognizes that people are unique so diets and lifestyles work for each individual differently. And as the conspiracy theorist that I am, I appreciate that Ayurvedic doctors are more likely to give you a recipe to help with your complaints as opposed to a prescription for pills.

Black History.
Harlem’s Schomburg Center for Research of Black Culture hosted its first Black Comic Book Festival this past January. I’ll be sure to make the next one!
In Philadelphia each May is The East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention, formerly the Pan-African Comic Convention (PAC-Con). The non-profit event has been credited as the “Black Comic Book Convention.”
